We will be launching a new fundraising venture at Saturday’s home game against FC United of Manchester.
The 50/50 Draw is a joint venture between the Supporters’ Club and the Football Club and will replace the Golden Goal and match day raffle.
Punters have the chance of winning half the takings so it is hoped that a much bigger prize will attract more participants to boost the funds of both the club and the Supporters’ Club.
Tickets will be available close to all turnstiles and Mick Glossop will circulate the ground as he did with the Golden Goal tickets.
Mick, Chairman of the Supporters’ Club, said: “ I would like to thank director Stuart Allan, our Chairman Gary Douglas and Sandra Jeffray from hospitality for their help and support prior to the 50/50 launch.
He added: “I have really enjoyed my years meeting both home and away supporters while selling the Golden Goal tickets and a massive thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket over the years. I hope everyone gets behind this new venture, it is something that has proved very popular with home and away supporters at many of the grounds we have visited.
“Please support the 50/50, not only will you be supporting your Supporters’ Club but also your Football Club too.”
