We are delighted to announce we have made an advanced £2500 payment to Guiseley AFC and bypassed our share of the takings from the 50/50 cash draw money raised this season. Further donations have meant £6650 has been given to the club because of your support.
We would like to thank everyone who has purchased a 50/50 cash draw ticket this season who has made this donation, which was made in March, to the football club possible, your support of our fundraising activities is greatly appreciated.
On top of the donation from ourselves Sue Clapham has also donated £1150 raised via the pitch square sponsorship scheme from the last two seasons, this is after some of the money raised during the 18/19 campaign was used to purchase a pump to help get games on at Nethermoor.
Finally another donation has also been made for £3000 which was money raised from the former matchday raffle that used to take place, this money had been saved over the years and it was felt the club would benefit from having access to it at this unprecedented time.
So all in all £6650 has been donated to the club because of your support of the various fundraising activities that take place at Nethermoor.
The football club have raised a significant amount of money through their CrowdFunding platform through various donations, season ticket sales and even an Online 50/50 Cash Draw, you can support the CrowdFunding campaign here.
Supporters' Club Chairman Mick Glossop commented "With the whole world going through unprecedented times at the moment we knew the Football Club would be grateful for our financial support and are delighted to be able to help with the donation we have made. I would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the 19/20 season, all of our committee members and volunteers for helping out at events and keeping the Supporters' Club running smoothly."
"We cannot wait to be back at Nethermoor Park supporting the team but we know this is only possible when it is safe to do so, keep safe everyone."
