We've been proud to support Guiseley AFC's chosen charity throughout the 17/18 season.
The fundraising efforts culminated in three post-season friendlies with supporters from Salford City, Scarborough Athletic and Harrogate Town where £300 was raised.
A great time was had by all participants in the friendlies even if the score lines might not have been too kind!
Organised by Supporters’ Club Secretary Rob Jennings the fixtures were well appreciated and supported.
“I’d like to thank everyone who played for us across the three friendlies and backed this worthy cause so generously” said Rob.
“Also thank you to the fans from Salford City, Scarborough Athletic and Harrogate Town for their organisation of venues and opponents, without them this would not have been possible.”
Supporters’ Club Chairman Mick Glossop said “As a Supporters’ Club we have really backed the Football Club’s idea to have a chosen charity but none of this would have been possible without the backing of the loyal Guiseley faithful in what has been a tough campaign.”
“Thank you to Rob for arranging these friendlies and boosting the amount raised for Give a Duck, we’ll be confirming the final total soon.”
