We are extremely proud to have covered the cost of a new battery for the defibrillator at Nethermoor Park.

A post in local community Facebook groups highlighted that seven defibrillators, including the one at Nethermoor, had to be decommissioned due to a software fault which showed the battery had enough charge when it was in fact flat. 

We approached Public Access Defibrillators, the company who run and monitor the life saving devices, after hearing of the problem and are happy to see the issue resolved after just a matter of days.

The defibrillator is now back in use and can be used by the local community in the case of an emergency.
